Here is the thing about your aura, gorgeous — it was never yours to pick. It is what the room feels when you walk into it, and it turns up in how you answer, not in what you would like to be true. So there is not a single colour question below. Seven little ones, one minute, and the universe draws the rest.
Seven questions, about a minute
Luna reads all three of them in full. The one at your centre, which is what you are running on when nobody is watching. The one in the middle, which decides how you love and what the loving costs you. And the one at your edge, which is what people meet long before they ever meet you. She reads the two places where they touch, because that is where most of the friction and most of the gift in a person quietly lives — and she will tell you what your answers gave away without meaning to.
And you keep the picture of it. Your aura in watercolour, in your own three colours, come out the way only your answers could have made it. It is yours from the moment your reading appears.

Why three colours and not one
Most people are described as having one or two shades that stay more or less fixed for life, with other colours moving as circumstances, mood and health change. The formal systems go further and describe seven layers — physical, etheric, emotional, mental, and so on outward.
Three is the number that actually tells you something, and three is what you get:
- Your base. The one closest to the skin — the colour you keep coming home to, whatever else is going on. It shifts slowly, over years and only when something in you really turns.
- Your secondary. How you arrive in a room. Often nothing like how you are when the door is shut and it is just you.
- Your current band. The outer edge — where the light is falling this month. Come back after a season has turned and watch this one move.
Which is why the first five questions ask who you have always been, and the last two ask about right now. Different questions, different layers. The universe is nothing if not organised.
What each aura colour means
| Red | Drive, appetite, physical presence. Reds want things directly and know when they are alive. The shadow is impatience — and a temper that arrives before the thought does. |
| Orange | Creative heat. Sociable, restless, quick to start things. Happiest mid-project; the shadow is a trail of them left unfinished. |
| Yellow | Optimism and quick thought. Yellows lighten rooms and think out loud. The shadow is using that lightness to skate over the thing that actually needs saying. |
| Green | Healing and growth — the heart doing steady work, usually for somebody else. The shadow is giving until there is resentment underneath it. |
| Turquoise | Compassion with a voice. Turquoise feels it and can say it, which is rarer than it sounds. The shadow is absorbing other people’s weather as though it were the forecast. |
| Blue | Calm, truthful, quietly certain. Blues would rather know than be comfortable. The shadow is a coolness that reads as distance to people who needed warmth. |
| Indigo | Deep perception, thin boundaries, vivid dreams. Indigos know before they can explain. The shadow is overwhelm — a signal that arrives louder than the wiring can carry. |
| Violet | The seeker, reaching past the visible. Never quite satisfied by the surface of things. The shadow is being so busy looking for meaning that the actual life goes unlived. |
| Pink | Tenderness held openly. Romantic, unguarded, braver about love than people credit. The shadow is mistaking intensity for compatibility. |
| Gold | Purpose and magnetism. Rare, and it draws people who need direction. The shadow is measuring your worth by what you produced this week. |
Questions people ask
Can I see my own aura?
Some people report it; most do not. The usual suggestion is a plain white wall, soft light, and looking slightly past yourself in a mirror rather than at yourself. Treat what you see gently — eyes produce afterimages, and afterimages are convincing.
Does an aura colour change?
Constantly, darling — that is rather the point. The outer band moves with the season you are in and will look different by the time the leaves turn. The two underneath move too, only far more slowly, and usually because you have actually changed rather than because you had a bad Tuesday. If you take this again in a year and your base has shifted, that is not the quiz being fickle. That is you having grown, and it is worth noticing.
What does it mean if I get two colours I would not have picked?
Usually that the quiz asked about behaviour rather than preference. People pick the colour they would like to be and behave like the one they are, and the second is what shows.
Is this the same as a chakra reading?
No, though they sit next to each other. The seven chakras have their own fixed colours — root red through crown violet — and those never vary from person to person. That is why the figure in your picture always carries the same seven, while the field around it is yours.
Is it free?
Yes, and unlimited. The picture is drawn on your own device rather than generated on a server, so there is nothing to pay for and nothing to sign up to.

- Angel number calculator — your numbers work the same way: a fixed part and a part that moves with the year.
- The twin flame test — if the person on your mind is the reason you are here.
For reflection and entertainment. Nothing here is medical, psychological or financial advice, and no colour is a reason to stay somewhere you should leave.
